Relationships aren’t always easy, and most of us can benefit from the support and advice of a relationship life coach at some point. A coach works with single people, as well as with couples and their focus is often on resolving conflicts or improving communication, something that is key to a successful relationship. Coaching isn’t quite the same as therapy; it’s more about identifying goals in the relationship and focusing on how to achieve them. If you’re a single person and often wonder why you are still single, a relationship coach can help you to cope with changes, learn to compromise and generally be more honest about yourself and your expectations. And it’s also a challenging and well paid career for anyone who has a background in psychology, counselling or social work. Being a good listener, patient and a people person are obviously essential traits too.
