While not dangerous to your health, head lice is a very unpleasant experience and one that is quite common, especially among school-aged children. That doesn’t mean it can’t be controlled once detected.

Below are some tips for Head Lice Control:
-Don’t share hairbrushes, combs, hats or anything else that makes contact with hair.
-When hanging your coat, try to keep it away from other coats or keep it on the back of your chair.
-If you have children in school, check their hair for lice frequently.
-If you find that your child has lice, let the school know so they can take proper precautions to stop the spread.
-Treat the infestation promptly and wash all clothes and bedding properly to kill the remaining eggs.

Lice is not uncommon and getting it doesn’t mean you are unhygienic. It doesn’t have to control your life either. All you have to do is follow guidelines for prevention and treatment to keep it under control.
