The Registered Immigration Agent assists businesses and individuals who require the services of migration agents. They are an independent body incorporated under the laws of the private states.
All agents must be registered with the Board of Immigration before being permitted to handle visa applications. In addition, all agents are required to undergo a training program that consists of both practical and theoretical training, both in public law and immigration practice. The Migration Institute approves these courses. While becoming a registered migration agent, one must also complete a six-month internship that is supervised by a senior member of the institute.
For those individuals who may not have prior experience in the area or areas, they wish to migrate to, the assistance of a registered migration agent will prove invaluable. This is especially true when the Immigration Department may turn down a person’s visa application.
