Las Vegas strip food includes everything from fast food to some of the country’s top restaurants. However, to many visitors to Sin City, eating on the strip means a visit to one of the hugely popular casino buffets, which can be found in most of the larger hotels. In fact, the concept of the all you can eat buffet is said to have originated in the city during the 1940s. The typical Las Vegas buffet features dozens of different food items, including some you perhaps weren’t expecting, such as caviar and roast duck, along with Chinese, Italian and other foreign options. Some come with free beer and wine, many are housed in beautifully designed dining rooms, and some let you enjoy the experience more with several live action cooking stations. Expect to wait in line at peak time, but a buffet is something not to be missed.
