Andropause occurs in men and it happens when testosterone drops due to old age and other factors such as diseases that affect the hypothalamus, testicles or pituitary gland. Low levels of testosterone usually differ from person to person.

Low testosterone is usually characterized by; low libido, depression, hair loss, erectile problem, poor sleeping pattern, mood swings, memory loss and also decreased body mass.

There are several ways that can be used in treatment of Andropause and they are such as; hormone replacement, getting enough sleep, reducing stress, exercising regularly and eating a healthy diet.

The following diagnosis are performed to determine whether someone has low level of testosterone; blood test which usually measures the level of testosterone, physical examination and also the doctor asks about the symptoms.

In men low levels of testosterone are manageable but if one is having a hard time dealing with the symptoms, it’s always advisable to seek medical help.
