The Raleigh flea market is one of the best places in North Carolina to find a bargain. Located in the state fairgrounds complex, the weekend market has been in operation for over 50 years, and attracts buyers from all over the state. As well as antiques, collectible items, used clothing and second hand books, you can usually find pets for sale, used furniture and sports memorabilia too. Although many of the 500 or so vendors set up their stalls outdoors, there’s also a large indoor building, and there are plenty of places to grab a snack or a meal. It’s easy to get to the flea market as Interstate 40 is just a few minutes away, and the sprawling market has plenty of parking, and on site security. It’s open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 5pm and getting there early is always a good idea.
