Hot yoga has a lot of devoted practitioners. People like the environment and the benefits that it brings. However, one thing that most people don’t like is the sweat that inevitably drips onto their mats.
Sweat is present in all types of physical exertion but hot yoga makes it worse because of the temperature in the room. The wetness makes mats slippery which is a problem when trying to hold poses.
If you would like a non slip yoga mat for hot yoga, then consider opting for a cork-based surface. These can absorb water to keep the top dry. It can also dry quickly so you won’t have to worry about the wetness for long.
Just make sure that you clean the surface after every session and keep it away from sunlight. A cork yoga mat can serve you for a long time.
