The Gabriel Method reviews all existing weight loss plans and basically tells you that they are all crap. If, as he says, there was one method that actually works, there would only be one or maybe two diet plans in the whole world. Instead, they are legion.
As someone who cut himself down from 400 to 180 lbs, his advice is to stop tormenting yourself and instead attack the causes of overeating, which are primarily negative stress and toxins. It is his contention that the body builds up fat to store unwelcome toxins in the body. Cut out the toxins and the fat content will drop. Cut out the stress and you will stop overeating.
There is, of course, a lot more to his model but Gabriel seems to bring some great insight into the topic of weight loss that has apparently made a real difference in the lives of many people.
