A black TV cabinet definitely looks stylish, and black has the advantage of being able to complement almost any color. However, you may not want a stylish black piece of furniture if your décor or theme is rustic or old fashioned. Although it seems obvious, when choosing a TV cabinet, make sure it’s actually large enough to comfortably fit your television; a few inches around the side and top of the TV always looks better than one that takes up the entire space. Determine how many other pieces of equipment you need to house in or on the cabinet, such as a DVD player, streaming box or cable box. And if you store DVDS or CDs in your TV cabinet, make sure the one you buy has enough room. Some cabinets come with doors, while others are open shelves and it’s just a personal choice.
