One of the benefits of working with an experienced London travel planner is that they are often able to get you tickets for popular or sold out events. London’s West End is home to about 40 theatres, and many shows are next to impossible to buy tickets for, including The Lion King and Mamma Mia. A good planner or travel agent makes a point of keeping up with what is on, including the many smaller theatrical venues scattered around the city, as well as the restored Shakespeare’s Globe theatre. And it isn’t just the live shows too; London has a year round schedule of sporting, artistic and cultural events which can often be hard to find tickets for. The Wimbledon tennis tournament in July, the University Boat Race in April and the Royal Academy summer exhibition may all be on your list of must see London events.
