If there is anything we need in these fast paced, hectic and challenging times, it’s to see signs in stores that say CBD Oil For Sale. The dropper bottles the oils are sold in say CBD Tincture on it, but this term is more indicative about the process used in obtaining the oil, than the oil itself.

The oil is derived from the hemp plant, but when an alcohol based solution is used in the process, the oils that are extracted are called tincture. This term has been used ever since the popularity of the product became widespread. There has been so much apprehension and misinformation about hemp plants, that marketers probably felt the best route to go was to give the product a medical sounding name. It made it more palatable for the wary consumer. And by all accounts, it worked.
